What we Believe

We believe we are one of thousands of congregations of the church of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We recognize no earthly headquarters nor owe our allegiance to any except Jesus, the Son of the Living God, who is the head of the church which he has purchased with His own precious blood.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final source of truth for faith and life. It tells of God's character, power and love and records His involvement in humanity's story.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

II Timothy 3:16-17

We therefore try to pattern ourselves after the Christians of the first century in collective worship, church organization, and individual discipleship as is revealed with God’s inspiring word. We do not claim to be perfect, but wholly and completely rely upon the grace of God that is found only in Christ.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:8-10

Yet, fully accepting this, we realize that saving faith in Him is active.

“If you love me, you will obey what I command.”

John 14:15

That’s why it is our sincere aim to strive to obey the commands of our risen Lord, whom we love.

Our mission is to lift Christ up, so that all men may be drawn to Him.

” But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”

John 12:32

In so doing, we accept the challenge of the Lord’s commission as found in Matthew 28:19-20. He said,

” Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

No matter what your situation - married, widowed, divorced, or single...with or without children… young, old, or somewhere in between - if you are interested in a closer walk with Jesus Christ, then our prayer is that you will unite with Him and His church as we seek to follow in his steps.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

I Corinthians 11:1

Visitors are always welcome to our WORSHIP as our guests; but our prayer is that you will continue to visit us and, one day, become a part of a loving fellowship of believers who take their faith seriously. May we study and grow together, deepening our relationship with God and with one another.
